I love living in America. I really do. I think being an American and having a lot of the freedoms I do is awesome. But I have recently seen something that I think could make me want to leave America and go live somewhere where this doesn’t exist, I’m talking about Justin Bieber nail polish.
No, you are not slowly slipping into insanity and no, you have not stumbled into an alternate dimension where everything that is terrible is real, what you read was true. The teen “sensation” will launch his very own line of nail polish this winter with Nicole by OPI.
The line will be known as “One Less Lonely Girl” (or one more reason to hate Justin Bieber) and will include six different shades that all have titles “inspired” by Bieber’s “hit” songs. The six colors are: One Less Lonely Glitter (lavender), Prized Possession Purple (grape), Give Me the First Dance (silver), Me + Blue (dark blue), OMB! (bright red) and Step to the Beat of My Heart (heart-shaped glitter).
Wow… is this what our world is coming to? Justin Bieber nail polish? You would think that with all the crap this kid gets about being on the feminine side of the spectrum that the last thing he would want to do is slap his name on a bottle of fingernail polish. I mean, c’mon!? Have a little self respect! The fact that our country is so obsessed with this child gives me serious doubts about our intelligence and our critical evaluation of what passes as good music these days.
Being the classy Hollywood “celebrity” that he is, it is only fitting that he launch his polish at a classy store. So “One Less Lonely Girl” will exclusively launch this Winter at Walmart with other stores like Target and Sears following after that. Very classy Bieber, very classy indeed.
Well, it looks like all you “Beliebers” out there have a crappy gift to give each other for Christmas. You can check out three of the colors here if you want to, just in case you don’t believe me that this is real. You may be thinking that this is Bieber’s first prank as the reported new host of “Punk’d” but that would only make sense in logical society. No, this is real and may God help us all.
