Rock the Vote to American youth: "Use sex to sell Obamacare."

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusby feather

(h/t: Ace at Ace of Spades HQ)

The newest rock the vote campaign is surely one of their finest works. The video (below) basically states that if you’re for health care reform you should use sex as a tool (seriously, that pun was unintended) not only to buy poppers on Amazon, but also to tell potential suitors or more accurately, sex partners, that you won’t sleep with them because their views on health care are different than yours.

Yes, really. Yes, Rock the Vote is telling young voters to use sex appeal, and more blatantly, SEX to SELL Obamacare. WHAT THE….oh hell, just watch the video.

Apparently their logical arguments to support health care reform are all used up. But hey, at least they got this great little pledge:

We pledge ourselves to the health and liberty of young Americans. And to government for the people. We pledge to educate ourselves to stand against those who fight us. With mind, body and spirit. And to never f***ing you if you are against us. We will vote against you, work against you and once again, just in case you forgot, never, ever, never, ever, never ever, never ever f*** you.

Bipartisan? Yeah right. A classy bunch of individuals? Not a chance. Teaching young people how to get involved in the political process? Right on target! “Dear young people across America, if you can’t use your intellect to get involved in the political process, don’t worry, you can use your body. Sex sells…Obamacare, b**ches.”

NOTE: For those wondering, yes, that is Susan Sarandon’s daughter. The resemblance is striking, no?

Break-up of the year? Olbermann and Obama to end year-long lovefest??

I know, I spend a lot of time harping on Olbermann here, and that’s mostly because he’s an easy target because his bias is always showing. But truth be told, I was hit by a bit of “shock and awe” when I saw that he decided to announce to the world his contempt for the Health Care Reform Bill last night.

( has the video, I suggest you watch it, it’s nearly unbelievable.)

Olbermann says:

“The Senate Bill with the mandate must be defeated, if not in the Senate, then in the House.

It’s amazing to even hear those words coming out of his mouth. Especially given his undying love support for Obama this year. I can’t even imagine the level of disappointment and sadness he’s feeling now.

But then he goes on to say, in an even more empowered and defiant tone:

And if still the bill, and this heinous mandate become law, there is yet further reaction required. I call on all those whose conscience urges them to fight to use the only weapon that will left to us if this bill as currently constituted becomes law. We must not buy federally-mandated insurance, if this cheesy counterfeit of reform is all we can buy. No single payer? No sale. No public option? No sale. No Medicare buy-in? No sale.

Whoa!! So what you’re saying Keith is that YOU’RE against the whole federally mandated health insurance plan?? You’re against the government FORCING people to purchase their crap coverage? I’d pat you on the back if I wasn’t rolling on the floor laughing at your loss.

The best part, and this must have just been a dagger to his little cold heart:

And I hereby pledge that I will not buy this perversion of health-care reform. Pass this at your peril, senators. And sign it at yours, Mr. President. I will not buy this insurance. Brand me a law-breaker if you choose. Fine me if you will. Jail me if you must.

Now, I highly doubt that Obama is going to be as heartbroken as Ol’ Olbermann is, but its rather striking that even the lefties are ticked off about this bill. Actually, it’s pretty scary, because you know once the Left starts eating their own something is wrong.

And maybe the most ridiculous part about the whole rant on health care is when Olbermann segwayed to Maddow where she says, “Thank you Keith, I know…I know that was a difficult conclusion to arrive at.”

Kind of like when you decide it’s time for a divorce. Again, it would be sad if it wasn’t so hilarious to see a couple hardcore Obama-lovers realize “The One” isn’t. Boohoo!

Time's Person of the Year? Who Cares?

Time Magazine Obama Person of the Year

Another year is coming to an end and one thing on the back of everyone’s mind is who will win Time Magazine’s coveted “Person of the Year” cover?  Okay, maybe that’s not exactly on everyone’s mind, but it is something the newshounds among us tend to take notice of each year.   Whether it be a newly elected President (with the exceptions of Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover and Gerald Ford, every POTUS has won the spot since 1927) or the American Soldier (awarded in 2003, the year the Iraq war began), the winner always makes us think about why they won and who we would have chosen instead.

Well, after looking over this year’s finalists, I’m kind of left wondering if the “Person of the Year” award is kind of becoming like the Nobel Peace Prize or the B plus…absolutely worthless.

Don’t get me wrong, some of this year’s finalists seem pretty worthy.  General Stanley McChrystal, our current Commander of Forces in Afghanistan made the list.  Apple CEO Steve Jobs made the cut and I guess he’s had a pretty big year.  Jamaican gold medalist Usain Bolt and  Ben Bernanke, the Federal Reserve Chairman, are both finalists which led me to believe pickings were pretty slim this year.  And maybe that’s why the next three people and/or collection of people made the list.

President Barack Obama is on the list after winning last year’s award.  While last year’s cover was understandable, seeing as how he was the newly elected president, there’s absolutely no reason for him to be on this year’s cover, as well.  What has he done exactly?  Made it through eleven months in office?   Picked out a new pet?  Even that seemed to take months – don’t get me started on sending troops to Afghanistan.  If Obama wins the cover again this year, Time magazine will be dead to me (and trust me, it’s already in a coma, waiting on me to pull the plug).

On the plus side, Richard Nixon is the only other person in history to have been awarded the cover in two consecutive years.  If Obama wins, maybe we’ll have his premature resignation to look forward to.  Just a thought.

Also on the list is the Chinese worker, which according to Time, has become an influential international economic power.  Not the American worker, though I can’t blame Time for that, there aren’t exactly a lot of us left in the country, but come on, do we really need to praise the Chinese?  We already owe them like a gazillion trillion billion dollars!  Why don’t we just bend over, pull our pants down and invite them to expand their communist empire to include all 3,536,278 square miles of this great nation?

And the final person on the list?  You’ll love this one.  Speaker of the House and Botox aficionado, Nancy Pelosi.  No, seriously.  I’m not sure what Pelosi has accomplished aside from calling people Nazis or carrying on about Astroturf, but Time managing editor Richard Stengel made it clear that he thinks the Congresswoman is the bee’s knees on NBC’s “Today” show,

“Look, she’s the first woman Speaker of the House. She’s the strongest Speaker of the House in decades.  She had piloted what is probably the most important legislation in decades through the House. She’s a really, really pivotal lawmaker.”

Go ahead, I’ll give you a minute to laugh.  Nancy Pelosi.  That’s who Time Magazine feels “for better or for worse, …has done the most to influence the events of the year.”  I’ll give them the “for worse” part, but somehow I doubt that’s what they’re thinking.  Time Magazine is officially worthless and just another example of why the mainstream media is becoming extinct.

Creepy Propaganda from Copenhagen

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusby feather

If you haven’t seen the short film which Copenhagen organizers used to “start off” their summit, be prepared for your head to explode. You might want to cover your carpet and walls with plastic. I’ll wait….(insert jeopardy theme song here…)

I’ve seen propaganda films, many of them from WWII and the Cold War Era. And the purpose of those films is to drum up support for various causes. The United States made them to help fund the war with the purchase of war bonds and to promote the rationing of goods to ensure America was victorious in WWII. The Nazi’s used them to promote hate against Jews and the rest of Europe. We know it works, if you bombard people with bias and cut out the truth you can convince anyone that your cause is right and just.

Unfortunately, the propaganda film that kick started COP15 isn’t just a bias scare tactic, it comes on the heels of the greatest scandal in scientific history, Climategate. If you’ve been living in a cave in Afghanistan with Osama Bin Ladin here’s the deal on Climategate: hackers gained access to the email accounts of some the top global warming researchers. (PoliticaMath has a great visual on the CRU emails) The emails blatantly state that the data global warming researchers were using to convince the world of an impending environmental holocaust were doctored. As in, made up. As in, not true. As in, A LIE. Big shocker there. (sarcasm)

When I saw this video this afternoon, I couldn’t believe it. The level of Global Warming propaganda is scary!! The video  has millions of views on youtube alone. See for yourself:

Please help save the world….from the climate-frauds in Copenhagen!!!!

Obama + West Point = POTUS In Enemy Territory

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusby feather

Apparently Obama making a speech at West Point tonight was not a good idea. Apparently talking DIRECTLY to cadets who will be fighting the war in Afghanistan was political faux pas. Whatever the case may be, Chris Matthews is absolutely moronic to believe that the COMMANDER IN CHIEF was talking to “enemies” tonight. ENEMIES? Aren’t soldiers citizens of this country? Aren’t they the ones who willingly sacrifice their lives to defend our country? Aren’t soldiers capable of having differing opinions? It’s quite obvious that Chris is definitely in favor of Obama speaking ONLY to paid comrades who agree with every word he says; not to the people who are personally effected by his policies.
